It's been a few months since the last post, but the months have not been empty. Working on the to-do list for the house (got a few more big things knocked off the list), and working on our little 25' boat have pretty much consumed the extra summer days. A weekend away to prevent burnout, and here we are, fall approaching far too rapidly. Even though the next two months are typically the best in the NW, somehow, September=Fall is still true. And moving in the fall does not sound fun. Selling in the Spring seems like a smart idea.
We are currently looking for a slip for the now freshly painted and put-back-together (yet still somehow nameless) boat. Hopefully, we'll get a spot at the marina we're eyeing for a residence on down the road. A 'campout' here and there, we think, will give us a good taste of what life will be like there. And if that falls through, then there's always the cheap spot closer to home. Should know by the end of the week.
